SE Faces SAU, UAM in Final Road Trip

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set for its final road swing of the regular season, starting with a trip to Magnolia, Ark., on Feb. 20 to take on Southern Arkansas at 7:30 p.m. followed by a Feb. 22 matchup with Arkansas-Monticello in Monticello, Ark., at 3 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm head into the road trip with a 19-6 record overall on the season and a 13-5 record in Great American Conference play and ranked No. 2 in the initial NCAA Division II Central Region Poll.
 
Kevin Buckingham leads five double-digit scorers for SE, putting up 21.2 ppg while shooting 58.0 percent from the field and pulling down 7.5 rpg.
 
Kellen Manek is next in line with 14.0 ppg after posting career-highs in two of the last three games.
 
Adam Dworsky is putting up 13.8 ppg, while making his mark nationally in assists with 8.8 assists per outing after recently tying the school and conference record for assists in a game with 16 in the same game he became Southeastern's career leader in assists.
 
Kayo Goncalves is putting up 12.4 ppg while shooting 48.8 percent from three-point range and pulling down a team-high 9.0 rpg, while A'Torey Everett is averaging 10.6 ppg.
 
SAU comes into Thursday's game with an 11-13 overall record and an 8-10 mark in league play, led by Aaron Luca who is putting up 14.3 ppg while Devante Brooks pulls down 8.4 rpg.
 
UAM heads into the weekend with an 18-9 record on the season with a 10-8 mark in league play and are led by KJ Lesure's 18.9 ppg while Denzel McDuffey is grabbing 8.0 rpg..
