WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Southeastern used a three-run rally in the ninth to tie the game and won it with a run in the 10
th to win the series finale over Southwestern Oklahoma State 9-8 on Saturday afternoon in Weatherford, Okla.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 7-8 overall and 1-5 in Great American Conference play heading into a non-conference matchup with Bacone on Tuesday at 2 p.m. back at Mike Metheny Field.

Richard Ware,
Colton Buckner,
Anthony Cassos, and
Joseph Ramirez each collected a pair of hits, while
Chris Eusay, Nioo Piazza,
Davis Jenks, and
Slayde Ortiz had one apiece.

Ware and Ramirez each drove in three runs in the contest, while Cassos added one RBI.

Jacob Bigham got the start and tossed 4.1 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits with two strikeouts.

Beau Swimmer tossed 1.2 innings in relief and was tagged for three runs on three hits with three strikeouts.

Logan Teske picked up the victory after throwing four scoreless innings while allowing four hits and striking out three.

Piazza put the Storm on the board in the top of the first on a single which allowed Buckner to come around and score on an error by the Bulldog left fielder.

SWOSU would get in the bottom half of the first to knot the game at 1-1.

Ramirez would break the tie in the top of the second with an RBI double and two batters later Ware would drive in a pair on a double to left center, plating Eusay and Ramirez to take a 4-1 lead midway through the second.

The Storm would lose the lead as the Bulldogs would pick up two runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth to go ahead 5-4 after five.

Ware would, drive in another run on a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch to tie the game at 5-5.

It would be short-lived through as SWOSU answered with an RBI single in the bottom half to regain the lead at 6-5.

The Bulldogs would tack on two more runs in the bottom of the seventh to take an 8-5 lead.

SE would mount a rally in the top of the ninth with Cassos driving in a run on a single to third base and two batter later Ramirez would tie the game at 8-8 with a two-run double.

Eusay would lead off the top of the 10
th by reaching on an error, moving to third on a Ware single before coming home when Buckner grounded into a double play to take a 9-8 lead.

Teske would retire the side in order in the bottom half to preserve the 9-8 Storm victory.
