Savage Storm Men Face OBU, SNU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern heads into the week looking to hang onto the top spot in the conference standings as it first travels to Oklahoma Baptist on Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. before returning home to host Southern Nazarene at 3 p.m. on Feb. 8 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm will be looking to build on back-to-back wins after scoring 100-points or more in both games and lifting its record to 17-4 overall and 11-3 in Great American Conference play.
 
Kevin Buckingham's 21.8 ppg paces the offense which features five players averaging in double-digits.
 
Adam Dworsky is next in line with 14.4 ppg while ranking second in the nation in assists with 8.6 assists per game.
 
Kayo Goncalves is putting up 13.0 ppg while leading the nation in three-point shooting at 50.7 percent and on the defensive end is pulling down a league-best 8.9 rebounds per game.
 
Kellen Manek is putting up 12.9 ppg, while A'Torey Everett is averaging 10.6 ppg.
 
The Bison enter Thursday's matchup sitting fifth in the league with an 8-6 mark in GAC play and a 13-7 record overall.
 
OBU is putting up 80.7 ppg as a team, led by Jaquan Simms who is averaging 12.9 ppg, while DIshon Lowery is hauling in a team-best 6.7 rebounds per game.
 
The Crimson Storm heads into the weekend at 16-6 overall and 10-4 in league play which is second in the GAC behind SE.
 
SNU is averaging 78.4 ppg as a team, led by Jhonathan Dunn's 27.1 ppg while Micah Speight is next in line at 18.5 per outing.
