SE Women Set for OBU, SNU Weekend

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will be aiming to get back in the win column when it first heads north to Shawnee, Okla., to take on Oklahoma Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 before returning home Feb. 8 to host Southern Nazarene at 1 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak that has dropped them to 13-5 overall on the season and 10-4 in Great American Conference play, locking them into a four-way tie atop the conference standings.
 
SE will continue to look to GAC leading scorer Katie Webb on offense as she averages 18.6 ppg on 50.2 percent shooting, while also leading the team on the glass with 7.7 rebounds per game.
 
Kamryn Cantwell is next in line with 14.9 ppg while shooting 45.0 percent, with Briley Moon putting up 10.4 ppg while hitting 44.6 percent from beyond the arc.
 
The Bison enter Thursday's matchup with a 5-15 record overall and a 1-13 mark in GAC play, and won one of their last 10 outings.
 
OBU is scoring 69.9 ppg and is led by Mckenzie Cooper who is putting up 14.8 ppg, while Ugochinyere Nwarie is pulling down a team-high 4.7 rebounds per game.
 
The Crimson Storm heads into the weekend at 13-5 on the season and is one of the teams tied with Southeastern in first place in the conference.
 
SNU is putting up 68.6 ppg as a team, paced by Jaycee Soap's 13.3 ppg, while Alexus Jones is pulling down a team-best 7.7 rebounds per game.
