Storm Men Set to Host SNU Saturday

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to return to the court on Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. when it hosts Southern Nazarene in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
Due to health protocols, fans are still not allowed into road or home games at this time, but games can still be followed on the air on 96.1 FM with Jay Lindly on the call as well via the Southeastern Sports Network stream.
 
The Savage Storm got a little extra time to prepare for the weekend as its game against Northwestern Oklahoma State that had been scheduled for Thursday was canceled when the Rangers went into their CoVid protocols.
 
SE is coming off its first win of the season, picking up an 87-83 victory over rival East Central in the home opener on Monday, moving to 1-2 on the year and in Great American Conference Western Division play.
 
In that matchup Adam Dworsky posted a career-high 38 points and added 10 rebounds and seven assists.
 
Vadim Clanet joined him with a double-double, putting up 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Markeith Williams turned in 13 points.
 
Dworsky leads the team on the season with 21 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 5.7 assists per game.
 
SNU comes to town with a 2-2 record on the season and in GAC-W play after a 76-69 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday.
 
The Crimson Storm are led by Manny Dixon who is putting up 18.0 ppg on offense, while Mo Wilson is handing out a team-best 3.8 assists per contest.
 
Maik Bouwer leads the squad on the boards with 11.3 rpg.
