Storm Men Set For Three-Game Weekend Stretch

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern aims to get back in the win column over a three-game weekend beginning Jan. 21 when it hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena, followed by a Jan. 23 home meeting with Oklahoma Baptist at 4 p.m. before heading to Ada, Okla., on Jan. 25 to face rival East Central at 7:30 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm opened play in the Western Division of the Great American Conference with a 1-3 record, missing one game due to Covid protocols at Northwestern Oklahoma State.
 
The radio call of all three games will be available to SE fans on the Southeastern Sports Network over the air and online, piloted by Jay Lindly from Mix 96.1.
 
Those broadcast will be available on the following stations in the area: 96.1 FM, KZRC in Durant, Okla., 102.1 FM, KHKC in Atoka, Okla., 107.5 FM, KZIG in Atoka, Okla., 94.7 FM, KYHD in Valliant, Okla., and 99.5 FM, KZDV in Rattan, Okla.

Southeastern has been led on the year by Adam Dworsky who is averaging 18.8 ppg, including a 38 point performance in the team's win over East Central which is also the most points scored by a player in the league so far this season.
 
He is also dishing out 6.5 assists per outing and is matching the team lead in rebounding with 7.3 rpg.
 
Bobby Johnson is adding 12.3 ppg while Vadim Clanet is putting up 11.8 ppg, with Clanet also adding 7.3 rebounds per contest.
 
The Storm open the weekend looking for revenge against SWOSU who is 3-1 on the year. The Bulldogs are paced by Damian Thornton's 20.3 ppg, 12.8 rpg, and 3.5 assists per contest.
 
Following that matchup, the Storm will face a 2-3 OBU squad on Saturday afternoon. The Bison come in led by Harrison Stoddart's 15.6 ppg, while Brantly Thompson leads the team with 5.8 rpg and 4.2 apg.
 
SE closes out the three games in five days series on Monday night against a 2-2 ECU. The Tigers are led by Jalen Crutchfield's 15.8 ppg, while Josh apple leads the way on the boards with 8.5 rpg and Brennan Burns is dishing out 3.8 assists per contest.
