Men's Hoops Ready for SNU, NWOSU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out to get back in the win column as it closes out a two-game road swing on Thursday night with a 7:30 p.m. matchup with Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla., before returning home to host Northwestern Oklahoma State at 5 p.m. on Jan. 30 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The radio call of both games will be available to SE fans on the Southeastern Sports Network over the air and online, piloted by Jay Lindly from Mix 96.1.
 
Those broadcast will be available on the following stations in the area: 96.1 FM, KZRC in Durant, Okla., 102.1 FM, KHKC in Atoka, Okla., 107.5 FM, KZIG in Atoka, Okla., 94.7 FM, KYHD in Valliant, Okla., and 99.5 FM, KZDV in Rattan, Okla.

The Savage Storm head into the weekend with a 2-5 record in Great American Conference Western Division play and are looking to avoid a streak after suffering back-to-back losses.
 
Adam Dworsky paces the squad in nearly every category, averaging 21.1 ppg while handing out 6.7 assists per game and hauling in 6.0 rpg. He also leads the team in steals with 1.4 steals per outing.
 
Bobby Johnson and Vadim Clanet join him in double-figures with 12.9 and 12.4 ppg, respectively.
 
RJ Weeks is just shy of double-figures with 9.6 per game, while Jaedaun Slack has come on strong with a pair of double-digit scoring performances in his last two games, lifting his average to 7.4 points per game.
 
Clanet is hauling in a team-leading 6.1 rebounds per game, while three others are averaging at least four per contest.
 
SNU comes to town with a 4-3 record on the year and has won two-straight led by Adokiye Iyaye who is putting up 16.3 ppg.
 
Maik Bouwer is leading the team on the boards with 9.0 rpg, while Mo Wilson is handing out 3.6 assists per game.
 
NWOSU is 2-2 on the year after suffering a loss in its last game, its first since returning from a six-game hiatus due to Covid protocols.
 
The Rangers are led by Deon Barrett who is averaging 14.5 ppg and 5.3 assists per outing, while Bubba Furlong is pulling down a team-best 13.0 rebounds per game.
