Kyle Leslie three would stake the Storm to a 22-14 lead.
Â
MST closed the SE advantage to just one point by the 9:28 mark and again at the 7:28 mark, but each time the Storm would respond and maintain its lead, pushing its advantage to a half-high 11 points on a Dworsky layup at the 4:01 mark, taking a 49-38 lead.
Â
The Miners would hold a 13-6 scoring edge over the final four minutes of the first half however, cutting Southeastern lead to 55-51 at the half.
Â
The Storm lead would evaporate quickly after the halftime break as Missouri S&T opened the second half with a 10-2 run, taking a 61-57 lead by the 17:22 mark.

Â
With 10:41 to go, Dworsky would kick off a 10-0 run by scoring the next 10 points of the game on his own to tie the game at 86-86 with 8:41 to play.
Â
SE would finally regain the lead on a Brzovic three at the 7:03 mark, but MS&T would answer and held a 92-90 lead with 5:56 remaining.
Â
A Manek three would kick off an 11-2 run to retake the lead and held a 101-94 advantage with 2:01 to play.
Â

Â
MS&T would drain a three-quarter-court shot at the horn to make the final score 104-102.
