Men's Hoops Set for OBU Matchup

DURANT, Okla. – After opening the Great American Conference schedule with a pair of wins, Southeastern will next pit itself against the league's preseason favorite when it travels to Shawnee, Okla., to take on Oklahoma Baptist at 3 p.m. on Dec. 11.
 
The Savage Storm head into the weekend with a 6-1 record overall on the season and riding a six-game winning streak that includes opening the GAC schedule 2-0.
 
Southeastern fans will want to take note that OBU does not offer in-person ticket sales, with all tickets needing to be purchased online.
 
The Storm are have a foursome of double-digit scorers and are coming off the third-straight week with one of its players picking up GAC Player of the Week honors.
 
This week's award went to Ante Brzovic who is averaging 16.6 ppg off the bench which is second to Jett Sternberger's 22.7 per outing.
 
Adam Dworsky is putting up 14.3 ppg while Kellen Manek is averaging 13.6.
 
Dworsky continues to rank among the best in the nation in assists, dishing out 7.4 per game, while Brzovic has led SE on the boards with 9.7 per game while Manek is pulling down 7.7 per contest.
 
OBU comes into Saturday's matchup with a 5-3 record overall and a 2-0 mark in conference play.
 
The Bison are led by Burke Putnam who is putting up 20.9 ppg on the year, while four others are averaging 10-or-more ppg.
 
Brantly Thompson leads the team in assists with 5.5 per game, while Nigel Wilcox hauling in a team-best 7.9 rebounds per contest.
