Storm Women Take on OBU Saturday

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern hits the winter break portion of its schedule with a key Great American Conference road trip to take on Oklahoma Baptist at 1 p.m. on Dec. 11 in Shawnee, Okla.
 
The Savage Storm make the trip with a 3-5 record and a 1-1 mark in GAC play following a 58-45 win over Southern Nazarene last game out.
 
Southeastern fans will want to take note that OBU does not offer in-person ticket sales, with all tickets needing to be purchased online.
 
The Storm are paced by Kamryn Cantwell and Briley Moon who have nearly mirrored one another through the first eight games of the season, with Cantwell posting 15.8 ppg and Moon adding 15.3 per outing.
 
Cantwell has shot over 40 percent from the floor and has been to the free throw line more than any other SE player, hitting 33-of-38 at the charity stripe.
 
Moon also shoots over 40 percent overall but is also connecting on 40.0 percent of her three point shots, hitting a team-high 22.
 
Southeastern features a foursome of players averaging five ppg or better.
 
Moon also leads the way for SE on the board with 7.4 rpg while handing out a team-leading 3.1 assists per contest.
 
Oklahoma Baptist enters the weekend with a 5-3 record overall and a 1-1 mark in league play.
 
Kalifa Ford leads the way with 13.6 ppg while Mallory Lockhart is right behind at 13.5 to pace the offense.
 
Ford is pulling down a team-best 7.9 rebounds per game, with Jaylin Stapleton dishing out a team-leading 2.9 assists per game.
