Storm Looking to Keep Rolling at NWOSU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out for Alva, Okla., looking to keep its league-best winning streak intact when it takes on Northwestern Oklahoma State at 3 p.m. on Dec. 18.
 
The Savage Storm jump back into Great American Conference play after a non-conference victory over Seattle Pacific which stretched its winning streak to eight-straight, lifting the season record to 8-1 while SE comes in with a 3-0 record in conference play.
 
Meanwhile, the Rangers have put together a 7-2 overall record and a 2-1 mark in GAC play, but are 3-2 versus Division II competition, with two of those wins coming as part of their current three-game winning streak.
 
The Southeastern offense is averaging 89.1 ppg and is winning games by an average of 16.2 ppg while shooting 49.8 percent overall as a team and hitting 42.0 from beyond the arc.
 
Five players averaging in double-figures has powered the high-octane scoring, with Jett Sternberger pacing that group with 20.9 ppg while shooting 48.8 percent from the floor overall and 44.3 percent from three-point range.
 
Ante Brzovic is next in line with 16.1 ppg while connecting on a team-best 59.3 percent of his shots overall. He is also the team's top rebounder, nearly averaging a double-double with 9.6 rebounds per outing.
 
Adam Dworsky follows with 13.8 ppg while shooting over 50 percent from the field and hitting 46.9 percent of his threes as well as handing out a league-leading 7.6 assists per game.
 
Kellen Manek has added 12.7 ppg while shooting 44.4 percent from beyond the arc and pulling down 7.6 rebounds per game.
 
Bobby Johnson has been lights out from beyond the arc, hitting 24-of-48 three point shots while averaging 11.9 ppg.
 
NWOSU is led by Larry White with 14.4 ppg while leading a group of five players averaging in double-figures.
 
The Rangers are led on the board by Bubba Furlong who is hauling in 7.7 rebounds per game while also blocking 2.6 shots per contest. Brian Free leads the team in assists with 2.8 per game.
