DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern women's basketball aims to close out 2021 and open 2022 with victories when they make their first Arkansas road trip of the season to face Arkansas Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 in Russellville, Ark., before ringing in the new year with a Jan. 1 matchup versus Harding at 1 p.m. in Searcy, Ark.

The Savage Storm hit the road over the New Year holiday season with a 3-7 record overall and a 1-3 mark in Great American Conference play after back-to-back road losses at Oklahoma Baptist and Northwestern Oklahoma State.

SE is led by the duo of
Briley Moon and
Kamryn Cantwell who are averaging 14.5 and 14.2 ppg, respectively, while as a team the Storm is averaging 64.3 ppg, while the defense has been effective at slowing opponents to 64.1 ppg.
