SE Set to Close Out Regular Season

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern readies for the final two games of the regular season, first hosting Northwestern Oklahoma State for senior day at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena before closing out the regular season on the road in Bethany, Okla., to take on Southern Nazarene at 4 p.m. on Feb. 27.
 
The Savage Storm head into the weekend with a 7-8 record overall in Great American Conference Western Division play and the results of this week's games will have a lot to say over the seeding in the western division.
 
Thursday's home contest will not be open to the general public, and instead will be in accordance with the Great American Conference's policy regarding attendance which allows for a limited guest list for student-athletes and full time coaches. This policy allows a set number of four guests per athlete or coach and is limited to the home team only.
 
Guests on the pass list will be required to show an ID as well as wear a mask and practice social distancing while in attendance.
 
Saturday's matchup at SNU will not allow visiting fans in.
 
The radio call of both games will be available to SE fans on the Southeastern Sports Network over the air and online, piloted by Jay Lindly from Mix 96.1.
 
Those broadcast will be available on the following stations in the area: 96.1 FM, KZRC in Durant, Okla., 102.1 FM, KHKC in Atoka, Okla., 107.5 FM, KZIG in Atoka, Okla., 94.7 FM, KYHD in Valliant, Okla., and 99.5 FM, KZDV in Rattan, Okla.

SE is currently tied for fourth in the Western Division standings with Southwestern Oklahoma State, but sit just a game and a half out of second place with two games to play.
 
Adam Dworsky leads a group of four players averaging in double-figures, turning in 15.9 ppg, while Kellen Manek is right behind him with 14.9 per outing.
 
Vadim Clanet is next up with 12.0 ppg, while Bobby Johnson is putting up 11.7 per contest.
 
Dworsky continues to power the offense with a GAC-best 7.0 assists per game while the Storm combine for 14.8 per outing as a team.
 
Manek has taken over as the team's leader on the boards with 7.0 rebounds per game, while Dworsky and Clanet are each averaging better than five per game.
 
The Rangers come to town with a 2-10 record overall on the season and a 0-10 mark in GAC Western Division play.
 
They are led by Parrish Hewitt who is putting up 13.9 ppg on offense while Deon Barrett is handing out 3.1 assists per game.  Bubba Furlong leads the team on the glass with 9.5 rpg.
 
The Crimson Storm enter the weekend with a 9-7 record on the season and in divisional play.
 
SNU is led on offense by Adokiye Iyaye who is averaging 18.3 ppg, while Mo Wilson is handing out 3.5 assists per contest. Maik Bouwer paces the team on the boards with 7.8 rpg.
