Men's Hoops Face Three-Game Weekend Test

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will open its third trip through the Great American Conference Western Division schedule with three-game weekend, starting with a 7:30 p.m. contest on Feb. 4 against Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford, followed by a Feb. 6 road game at Oklahoma Baptist at 4 p.m. in Shawnee, Okla., before returning home on Feb. 8 for a 7:30 p.m. matchup against East Central in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm enter the third swing through the schedule with a 4-5 record in GAC-W play and have won two-straight heading into the weekend.
 
No Southeastern fans will be permitted at the games on the road at SWOSU and OBU, while the Feb. 8 game will be the first home basketball game under the new GAC attendance policy.
 
However, Monday's home contest will NOT be open to the general public, and instead will be in accordance with the Great American Conference's policy regarding attendance which allows for a limited guest list for student-athletes and full time coaches. This policy allows a set number of four guests per athlete or coach and is limited to the home team only.
 
Guests on the pass list will be required to show an ID as well as wear a mask and practice social distancing while in attendance.
 
The radio call of all three games will be available to SE fans on the Southeastern Sports Network over the air and online, piloted by Jay Lindly from Mix 96.1.
 
Those broadcast will be available on the following stations in the area: 96.1 FM, KZRC in Durant, Okla., 102.1 FM, KHKC in Atoka, Okla., 107.5 FM, KZIG in Atoka, Okla., 94.7 FM, KYHD in Valliant, Okla., and 99.5 FM, KZDV in Rattan, Okla.

Southeastern comes into the weekend powered by Adam Dworsky who is putting up 19.7 ppg, while leading the conference in assists with 7.44 per game and adding 6.1 rebounds per outing.
 
Vadim Clanet and Bobby Johnson join him in double-figure averages with 13.2 and 11.9 ppg, respectively.
 
Clanet holds a slight edge on the rebounding lead for the Storm with 6.2 rpg.
 
SWOSU comes into the contest with a 5-4 record and are led by Damion Thornton who is putting up 18.0 ppg and hauling in 10.2 rebounds per game, while Kamden Gipson leads the team with 2.8 assists per game.
 
OBU enters the weekend with a 6-3 record on the year and are paced by Harrison Stoddart who is putting up 14.8 ppg, while Nigel Wilcox leads the team on the glass with 8.3 rpg.  Brantly Thompson leads the team in assists with 4.1 per outing.
 
ECU heads into the weekend with a 4-5 record on the year and is led by Jalen Crutchfield's 16.7 ppg offensively while Brennen Burns is handing out 2.6 assists per game.  Josh Apple leads the Tigers on the glass with 7.1 rpg.
