SHAWNEE, Okla. – Southeastern had four players in double figures and connected on 14 three pointers as a team on its way to a dominant 83-55 victory over Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday afternoon in Shawnee, Okla.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 7-5 on the year in Great American Conference Western Division play as the team will now come home to prep for rival East Central on Monday night at 5:30 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

Briley Moon led SE offensively with 22 points on 7-of-10 shooting overall and a 5-of-7 effort from beyond the arc.

Katie Branam was next in line with 17, also finishing with five threes.

Kamryn Cantwell connected on four threes and finished with 14 points, while
Chandler Kemp put up 12.

The Storm shot 50.9 percent from the field for the contest and hit 45.2 percent from beyond the arc, connecting on 14-of-31 three-point tries.

Cantwell handed out a team-high six assists, while Branam, Moon, and Kemp each added five and SE turned in 27 as a team.

Cantwell also pulled down a game-best nine rebounds, while Kemp hauled in seven and the Storm overall held a 44-to-32 edge on the glass.

After OBU scored the first four points of the game the Storm offense came alive as Moon and Cantwell hit back-to-back threes to take a lead and kick off a huge first quarter run of 29-7, taking a 29-11 lead on another Cantwell three with 43 seconds to play in the frame before a late Bison bucket made the score 29-13 after one.

A Moon three and a Kemp bucket to open the second quarter pushed the advantage past 20 points and the lead would go as high as 22 points, first on a Benson jumper and the last tie in the half on a Kemp layup with 2:20 to go in the second.

OBU would close out he first half with the final four points and the Storm took a 45-27 lead into the break.

The lead remained 18 points early in the third quarter before a Moon three kicked off a 17-6 run to push the lead out to 67-36 after a pair of Cantwell free throws.

The Storm lead would reach 37 points on a
Casey Monk three-point play with 1:02 to play in the third before taking a 75-40 lead into the fourth.

SE moved into cruise control in the fourth quarter as the offense finished with just eight points, but the defense still held OBU to 25.0 percent shooting, fashioning a final of 83-55.
