BENTONVILLE, Ark. –
Cheyenne Mahy and
Kamarie Wallace each drove in three runs, while
Amberlyn Walsworth tossed four scoreless innings in relief to lift Southeastern to a 9-2 win over Ouachita Baptist in the quarterfinals of the Great American Conference Tournament in Bentonville, Ark.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 35-10 overall on the season and advances them to the GAC semifinals for the fifth time.
Â
The win also earns them a shot at revenge as SE will take on Harding at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The Bisons were the only team to take a regular season series from the Storm.

Peyton Streetman turned in a 3-for-3 effort at the plate to pace SE, driving in a run and scoring twice.
Â
Mahy and
Kyia Monahwee each added a pair of hits, while
Kady Fryrear,
Kamarie Wallace,
Jaleigh Durst, and
Bailey Beard each added one, bringing the Storm total to 11 on the game.

Mahy would drive in three runs, as would Wallace, while Streetman and Monahwee would add an RBI each.

Fryrear, Mahy, and Wallace each posted doubles, while Monahwee connected on the game's only home run.
Â
Mahy also got the start in the circle and tossed 3.0 innings, allowing two runs on six hits with a pair of strikeouts before being relieved and taking a no decision.

Walsworth would come on and pick up the win, her 17
th, after scattering two hits over 4.0 innings while striking out four.
Â
OBU got on the board first with an RBI single in the top half of the first inning, but Mahy answered with a sac fly to center field to plate Fryrear and knot the game at 1-1.

The Tigers scored another run on another RBI single in the top of the second to jump ahead 2-1 midway through the inning.

SE was scoreless in the bottom half but held OBU off the board in the top of the third before Fryrear led off the bottom half of the inning with a double followed by a Streetman walk.

Mahy then connected on a two-run double, plating both Fryrear and Streetman, but was thrown out after rounding second.

A batter later Monahwee would connect on a solo homer over the left field wall to push the lead out to 4-2.

Southeastern would tack on another run in the bottom of the fourth as Streetman singled to third to put the ball in play and Beard would come around to score on an error to push the advantage to 5-2.

Monahwee led off the fifth with a single and moved around to third on nearly back-to-back wild pitches before a Wallace sac fly would drive her in to stretch the lead to 6-2 after five.

Beard would give SE another leadoff runner on base in the sixth, before stealing second and reaching third on a wild pitch.

She would score on a Streetman RBI infield single, pushing the lead to 7-2.

Three batters later Wallace would find a gap in left center and double home Mahy and Streetman, extending the Storm lead to 9-2.

Walsworth would survive a pair of OBU singles in the top of the seventh, but no runner would advance past second base and SE would hold on for the 9-2 win. Â
