SE Welcomes HU, ATU for Back-to-Back Home Games

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will be aiming for a little revenge when it welcomes Harding to Bloomer Sullivan Arena on Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. and will follow it up with the season's first meeting with Arkansas Tech on Jan. 29 at 3 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm head into the weekend with a 12-4 record overall and a 7-3 mark in Great American Conference play.
 
SE has five players averaging 13.5 ppg or more on the season, with Jett Sternberger leading that charge with 18.5 ppg on 44.8 percent shooting overall and a 40.5 percent effort from beyond the arc.
 
Ante Brzovic is next in line with 16.6 ppg while shooting 58.1 percent overall and pulling down a team-best 10.0 rebounds per outing.
 
Adam Dworsky is right behind him with 16.4 ppg while shooting 53.0 percent from the field and 46.4 percent from three-point range, while also dishing out a league-best 7.3 assists per contest.
 
Kellen Manek checks in at 13.6 ppg and hitting 43.8 percent from long range while also hauling in 6.5 rebounds per game.
 
Bobby John son rounds out the double-digit group with 13.5 ppg and is hitting a team-high 47.3 percent from three-point range.
 
SE is looking to avenge its first conference loss which came on the road to HU on Jan. 1, while the Bisons have put together a 4-11 season overall and a 2-7 mark in league play.
 
HU is led by Taylor Currie's 17.7 ppg and 7.7 rebounds per outing, while Ramiro Santiago is dishing out 3.1 assists per contest.
 
Saturday will be the first meeting of the season between SE and ATU as the Dec. 30 matchup was postponed due to Covid protocols.
 
The Wonder Boys come to town with a 6-8 record overall and a 3-5 mark in GAC play, but are coming off a win over East Central which snapped a three-game losing skid.
 
ATU is paced on offense by Czar Perry's 16.5 ppg and 6.8 assists per contest, while Tony Hall is pulling down a team-best 6.9 rebounds per game.
