SE Welcomes Eagles for Home Opener

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will finally return home to the friendly confines of Bloomer Sullivan Arena to open its home slate when it hosts Oklahoma Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 22.
 
The Savage Storm come into the home opener with a 1-3 record after a road split at the Ashbrook Classic in Wichita Falls, Texas, that included a win over Midwestern State.
 
Briley Moon enters the contest at third in the Great American Conference in scoring at 19.0 ppg, bolstered by back-to-back outings of 25 and 30, points over the weekend.
 
She is shooting 46.4 percent overall from the floor and has hit 10 threes on the year, and has grabbed a team-best six steals.
 
Caitlin Kobiske is next in line with 11.3 ppg and leads the team with 5.8 rebounds per outing. She has also dished out eight assists on offense, while defensively she is second in the conference in blocked shots with seven.
 
Lauren Beason follows with 7.3 ppg with Abbie Barr adding 6.0 ppg off the bench.
 
Oklahoma Christian enters the contest with an 0-2 record off back-to-back losses at the hands of Newman and Central Oklahoma over the weekend.
 
The Eagles are led by Brooklin Bain who is averaging 17.0 ppg and 8.5 rebounds per outing, while Kate Bradley and Olivia Travis each have four assists apiece on the year.
