Storm Men's Hoops Hosts Rangers on Saturday

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to close out the 2022 Fall semester with a 7:30 p.m. matchup in Bloomer Sullivan Arena against Northwestern Oklahoma State on Dec. 17.
 
The Savage Storm enter the weekend with a 5-3 record overall and a 2-1 mark in Great American Conference play, having collected a three-game winning streak, including conference victories over Southwestern Oklahoma State and Oklahoma Baptist.
 
SE features five players scoring in double-figures as it leads the GAC in scoring with 86.88 points per game.
 
Jett Sternberger leads that group with 19.8 ppg while shooting 49.1 percent from the field.
 
Brennen Burns is putting up 13.5 ppg, while Kody Clouet and Landon Condiff are putting up 11.1 points per game.
 
Kyle Leslie clos3es out that group with 10.1 ppg, while Aaron Jacob is adding 9.3 per game.
 
Burns is dishing out a team-best 4.8 assists per game, while RJ Weeks and Sternberger are each averaging more than two per outing.
 
Leslie leads the team on the board with 6.3 rebounds per game while Clouet is right behind with 6.0 per contest.
 
NWOSU comes into Saturday's matchup with a 4-3 record on the year but are 0-3 in league play to open the season.
 
The Rangers are led by Malik Parsons on offense with 20.6 ppg while handing out a team-leading 3.3 assists per outing.
 
On defense, Shavaul Butters is pulling down a team-leading 8.3 rebounds per game while Butters and Larry White are each posting more than one blocked shot per contest.
