SE Hosts OBU, NWOSU in Must-Win Matchups

DURANT, Okla. – After weather forced an adjustment to the final weekend of the regular season, Southeastern will square off in a pair of must-win games home games beginning Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. against Oklahoma Baptist with the season finale slated for 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 versus Northwestern Oklahoma State.
 
Both games will be played in Bloomer Sullivan Arena as the Savage Storm will need to win both and get some help to reach the Great American Conference Tournament next week.
 
SE comes into the contest at 10-16 overall and 8-12 in GAC play, two games behind Arkansas tech and Oklahoma Baptist who are tied for seventh. The Storm will need one or both of those teams to lose their final two games of the season while winning both of its games.
 
Kamryn Cantwell comes into the contest leading the Storm in Scoring with 14.9 ppg while shooting 44.6 percent from the floor and handing out a team-high 3.2 assists.
 
Briley Moon is right behind her with 13.7 ppg while shooting 39.7 percent form beyond the arc and hauling in a team-leading 6.3 rebounds per game.
 
Chandler Kemp is adding 7.2 ppg while shooting a team-best 53.3 percent from the field.
 
On the season, Southeastern is outshooting its opponents, holding teams to 38.2 percent shooting overall and 28.4 percent from three-point range.
 
OBU comes into Friday's contest with a 14-12 record overall and a 10-10 mark in GAC play, winning their last two but dropping four of their last six overall.
 
The Bisons are paced by Kalifa Ford's 17.0 ppg and 9.0 rpg, while Jaylin Stapleton hands out a team-best 3.3 assists per game.
 
NWOSU comes into the weekend with a 15-11 record on the season and an 11-9 mark in GAC play and are 2-2 in their last four contests.
 
Bailey Brown leads the Rangers in points and rebounds with 19.0 ppg and 8.2 rpg, while Carly Craig is dishing out a team-leading 4.7 assists per game.
