Women's Hoops Set for Pair of Rematches

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to return home for a non-traditional Wednesday night matchup on Jan. 18 at 5:30 p.m. versus Southern Nazarene before taking to the road once again over the weekend to head to Weatherford, Okla., to face Southwestern Oklahoma State at 11 a.m. on Jan. 21.
 
The Savage Storm are looking to bounce back after dropping a pair of road games following its win over league-leading Harding in its last home contest. The two losses have dropped SE to 4-9 overall on the year and 2-6 in Great American Conference play.
 
SE comes into the week paced by the duo of Briley Moon and Caitlin Kobiske.
 
Moon is averaging a team-best 17.7 ppg while adding 6.9 rebounds pe routing and dishing out 2.5 assist per contest.
 
Kobiske is the team's leading rebounder with 7.2 rebounds per game while adding 14.5 ppg and handing out 2.1 assist per outing.
 
Grace Alverson and Holli Lindley are next in line with scoring at 6.2 ppg apiece, while Aimee Alverson leads the Storm in assists with 3.1 per game.
 
SNU comes into Wednesday's matchup with a 10-4 record overall and a 7-1 record in league play, bhut are coming off a loss to Harding in its last outing.
 
The Crimson Storm are led by Georgia Adams who is putting up 16.4 ppg to pace a trio of double-digit scorers, while Cassandra Awatt is pulling down a team-high 8.9 rebounds per game and Hannah Giddey is handing out a team-leading 3.2 assists per game.
 
SWOSU enters the week with a 3-10 record overall and a 3-5 mark in league play having l;ost its last two outings.
 
The Bulldogs are led by Averi Zinn's 14.8 ppg, while Shamica Smith is pulling down a team-best 6.8 rebounds per game with Macy Gore dishing out 3.8 assists per game.
