Savage Storm Welcomes OBU, HSU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern has won four of its last five games and will be looking to build on that momentum when it first welcomes Ouachita Baptist for a 7:30 p.m. matchup on Jan. 26 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena, before squaring off with Henderson State on Jan. 28 at 3 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the contest with a 10-6 record overall and a 7-4 mark in Great American Conference play.
 
Jett Sternberger leads a foursome of double-digit scorers with 19.6 ppg while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor and ranking second on the team in threes made on the year with 34.
 
Brennen Burns is next in line with 15.3 ppg, bolstered by his last five outings where he has averaged 19.4 ppg, while also pacing the club in assists on the year with 4.8 assists per game.
 
Kody Clouet has chipped in 12.0 ppg, while Landon Condiff is adding 10.6 per outing, with Kyle Leslie just shy of double digits on the year with 9.0 ppg.
 
Leslie also leads the team on the boards with 6.4 rebounds per game.
 
OBU comes into Thursday's contest with an 8-7 record overall and a 6-5 mark in league play.
 
The Tigers are led by Ma'Darius Hobson who is putting up 15.2 ppg, with LaQuan Butler dishing out a team-leading 4.0 assists per game.  Tylar Haynes leads the team on the boards with 6.3 rpg.
 
HSU comes into the weekend with an 8-9 record on the season overall and a 5-06 mark in league play.
 
Franck Kamgain leads the team in scoring with 14.1 ppg while Alvin Miles is handing out 3.9 assists per outing. Tomislav Miholjcic is the team's top rebounder at 6.2 rpg.
