Southeastern Set to Host OBU, HSU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns home looking to snap a losing skid when it welcomes Ouachita Baptist for a 5:30 p.m. matchup on Jan. 26 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena, followed by a Jan. 28 1 p.m. meeting with Henderson State.
 
The Savage Storm come into the contest with a 4-12 record overall on the season and a 2-9 mark in Great American Conference play and looking to end a five-game losing streak.
 
Despite dropping five-straight, Briley Moon has averaged 19.0 ppg over that span, lifting her season average to 17.2 ppg. She has also been the team's leading rebounder in the last five outings with 8.2 rpg and snagged nine steals over that span.
 
Caitlin Kobiske is next in line with 14.9 ppg on the season, bolstered by aa 16.8 ppg clip over the last five games. She has been the team leader on the boards all season with 7.4 rebounds per game and has put together four double-doubles on the season.
 
OBU comes into Thursday's contest with a 7-8 record overall and a 4-7 mark in league play.
 
The Tigers are led by Makayla Miller who is putting up 13.9 ppg on the season, while handing out a team-leading 4.7 assists per game.  Grayson Fairless leads the way on the board with 6.1 rpg.
 
HSU enters the weekend of competition with a 9-8 record overall and a 6-5 mark in GAC play.
 
Ashley Fareer leads the Reddie offense with 19.6 ppg while Sonni Martin is handing out a team-best 3.5 assists per outing.  Abbie Jiles leads the way on the glass with 6.4 rpg.
