Kobiske Takes Home GAC Weekly Honor

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern's Caitlin Kobiske picked up Great American Conference Player of the Week honors after helping the Savage Storm to a pair of wins last week.
 
Kobiske, a junior from Keller, Texas, averaged 18.0 ppg on the week and pulled down 9.5 rebounds per contest as SE opened up its home slate with a 63-55 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God before adding on a 77-62 come-from-behind win over former conference foe Midwestern State.
 
Kobiske shot 55.0 percent from the field for the week and hit 87.5 percent from the free throw line.
 
Her best outing came on Saturday as the Storm rallied from 18-down to best MSU behind a Kobiske double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds.
 
The Savage Storm will be back on the court Nov. 21-22 at the UCO Classic in Edmond, Okla.
