Storm Women Set for UCO Classic in Edmond, Okla.

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will hit the road in advance of Thanksgiving when it travels to Edmond, Okla., for the UCO Classic where it will take on Oklahoma Christian at 2 p.m. on Nov. 21 followed by an 11 a.m. matchup with Texas A&M-International on Nov. 22.
 
The Savage Storm are coming off a big comeback victory over Midwestern State on Saturday which lifted their record to 3-1 on the season and pushed its winning streak to three games.
 
Caitlin Kobiske leads the SE offense with 17.5 points per game on the year while nearly posting a double-double with 9.5 rebounds per contest.
 
Lauren Beason is next in line in scoring with 12.3 ppg off the bench while hitting 9-of-14 from three-point range and shooting 50.0 percent overall.
 
Holli Lindley checks in with 10.5 ppg on offense and matches Kobiske on the boards with 9.5 rebounds per outing.
 
Ashton Hackler is just shy of double-digits with 9.3 ppg, while Grace Alverson is adding 7.8 per contest.
 
Kobiske and Lindley lead the Storm on the boards while Southeastern is outrebounding its opponents by a 46.0-to-41.0 margin.
 
Oklahoma Christian comes into he classic with a 1-1 record after opening its season with a win over Upper Iowa before falling to East Central.
 
Brooklin Bain leads the Eagles with 18.0 ppg and 13.0 rebounds, while Asiyha Smith is putting up 13.5 ppg and handing out 2.5 assists per outing.
 
TAMIU enters the week 5-0 after starting the season with a three-game sweep of the Canadian Tip-Off Classic before picking up a pair of wins at home.
 
The Dustdevils feature five players averaging in double-figures, led by Raiana Brown who is putting up 16.0 per outing, while Ngozi Obineke is averaging 10.6 ppg while adding team-bests of 6.8 rebounds per game and 3.4 assists per contest.
