Caitlin Kobiske dropped 43 points and
Briley Moon climbed to No. 2 on Southeastern's career scoring list to highlight a 77-64 victory over Arkansas-Monticello on Saturday afternoon in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The win stretches the current Savage Storm winning streak to three games and improves the record to 7-15 overall and 5-12 in Great American Conference play heading into a Monday night matchup with rival East Central at 5:30 p.m. back in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

Moon came into Saturday's contest needing 10 points to surpass Katie Webb's career scoring mark of 1,649 points, and when she sank a three just over 20 seconds into the fourth quarter, she would push her total to 1,651, moving into second place all time. She would finish the contest with 14 points, bringing her career total to 1,654.

While Moon reached a career milestone, it was Kobiske who provided the fuel for the engine on Saturday as she would turn in a career-high in points for the second-straight game, this time finishing he afternoon with 43 points.

She would go 10-of-17 from the floor overall and would set a school record for free throws made as she went 23-of-25 at the charity stripe, including connecting on her first 20 in-a-row.

Lauryn Scalice would also reach double-figures as she went 4-of-6 from beyond the arc to finish with 12 points.

Moon finished the contest with a double-double, pulling down 10 rebounds and now finds herself four rebounds away from moving into fifth-place on the career rebounding list at Southeastern.

Maci Bookout and
Lauren Beason each added five boards, while Kobiske chipped in four.

Moon also led the Storm in assists with seven on the day, while
Grace Alverson added three.

The teams opened by trading buckets and remaining within a possession of one another until five-straight SE points would push the Storm lead to 13-7 with 3:18 to play in the first quarter.

UAM would answer and take a one-point lead late in the quarter before a Kobiske jumper would give the Storm a 16-15 lead after one frame.

The second quarter would feature three ties, but the Storm would never trail, finding an answer each time the score was knotted, and when a Scalice three fell with 1:18 to play in the half the Storm would see its halftime lead grow to 29-24.

SE would keep UAM at a five-point deficit or more for the entirety of the third quarter, finally stretching the lead to double-figures on a Moon bucket with 1:08 remaining to take a 51-41 lead.

Southeastern would finally take a 53-45 lead into the fourth quarter.

Kobiske dominated the fourth quarter, with 14 points of the team's 24.

It was a Scalice three that pushed the SE lead to double-digits for good with 5:21 to play, and over the next four minutes Kobiske would score 11 points, leaving the game with 1:09 to play after putting SE ahead 75-60.

The Storm would hold on for a 77-64 final score.
