Moon, Kobiske Earn CSC Academic All-District

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern's Briley Moon and Caitlin Kobiske have each been named CSC Academic All-District.
 
For student athletes to earn Academic All-District honors they must be a sophomore or high classification with a 3.5 GPA or better. Athletes must also maintain a high level of on court production in addition to their work in the classroom.
 
Moon, a senior from Martin's Mill, Texas, is already a three-time All-Great American Conference honoree in her career, in addition to earning Freshman of the Year honors in her first season.
 
In 2022-23 she has averaged 14.8 ppg while shooting 44.3 percent form the field and hitting 37.8 percent of her three-point attempts. She has also added 6.7 rebounds per game and has dished out a team-best 67 assists.
 
Over her career she has firmly planted herself in the top-10 in SE history in nearly every major stat category, most recently moving to number two on the all-time scoring list with 1,675 points.  She is also currently fifth in rebounds with 728, 10^th in assists with 253, and fourth in steals with 208.
 
Kobiske, a sophomore from Keller, Texas, has posted 427 points this season which ranks as the 18^th best single season mark, while her current 17.1 ppg average would be the 14^th best season average in a single season.
 
On the year she has led the team with 17.1 ppg and is second in rebounding at 6.3 per game while adding 54 assists, 19 steals and 12 blocked shots.
