SE Women Host OBU before NWOSU Road Trip

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will head into the final week of the season looking to finish strong as it first hosts Oklahoma Baptist for senior day at Bloomer Sullivan Arena on Feb. 23 at 5:30 p.m. before traveling to Alva, Okla., on Feb. 25 for the season finale versus Northwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come in with a 7-18 record overall and a 5-15 mark in Great American Conference play and will be celebrating just one senior on Thursday as it will be the final home game for Briley Moon.
 
Moon has firmly planted herself in the top-10 in SE history in nearly every major stat category, most recently moving to number two on the all-time scoring list with 1,675 points.  She is also currently fifth in rebounds with 728, 10th in assists with 253, and fourth in steals with 208.
 
For this season she has averaged 14.8 ppg while shooting 44.3 percent from the floor which is good for second on the team.
 
She trails only Caitlin Kobiske who is putting together one of the best sophomore seasons in SE history as she is averaging 17.1 ppg to lead the way on offense while shooting 50.9 percent from the field.
 
Moon leads the team in rebounding with 6.7 rpg, while Kobiske is right behind with 6.3 rpg.
 
OBU comes into Thursday night's matchup with a 14-12 record overall on the year and a 10-10 mark in league play.
 
The Bison are led by Jaedyn Getman who is putting up 12.7 ppg while Jill Leslie leads the team on the board with 5.3 per outing.
 
NWOSU heads into the weekend with an 11-13 record overall and a 7-13 mark in GAC play.
 
The Rangers are led by Faith Simpson who is averaging 18.0 ppg and 7.9 rpg, while Carly Craig is handing out 4.6 assists per game.
