SE Women Set for Three-Game Homestand

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will aim to build on a victory in its last outing as it heads into a three-game homestand beginning on Feb. 9 with a 5:30 p.m. matchup against Southern Arkansas at Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
Thursday's matchup is followed by a 1 p.m. contest on Feb. 11 versus Arkansas-Monticello before closing out the homestand on Monday, Feb. 13 with a 5:30 p.m. matchup against rival East Central.
 
Thursday night will be Chamber Night, honoring the Durant area Chamber of Commerce, and will also feature a presentation to Choctaw Nation Chief Gary Batton.
 
The Storm are coming off a road win over Arkansas Tech which snapped a losing skid and looks to add motivation as SE looks for a late season push to make the Great American Conference tournament.
 
Southeastern enters the weekend at 5-15 overall and 3-12 in GAC play, three games out of eighth place with seven games remaining on the schedule.
 
Briley Moon leads the Storm offense with 16.3 ppg on the season and is nearing a career milestone as she is 20 points shy of moving into second place on SE's career scoring list, coming into the game with 1,630 points, trailing former teammate Katie Webb's 1,649 points.
 
Caitlin Kobiske is next up with 15.0 ppg and leads the team on the boards with 7.0 rebounds per outing.
 
Moon also paces the Storm in assists with 2.6 per game.
 
SAU comes into Thursday's meeting with a 10-11 record overall and a 6-9 mark in GAC play.
 
The Muleriders are led by Diamond Morris who is averaging 13.1 ppg and 5.7 rpg, while Braydyn Hill is handing out a team-best 3.6 assists per outing.
 
UAM enters the weekend with a 9-12 record overall and a 6-9 tally in league contests.
 
The Cotton Blossoms are paced by Bailey Harris with 15.4 ppg, while Joi Montgomery is hauling in 6.9 rebounds per outing.
 
ECU heads into the weekend with a 7-12 record on the year and a 4-11 mark in league play.
 
Mackenzie Crusoe leads the Tigers with 13.2 ppg, 5.6 assists per game and 3.0 assists per game.
