SE Women's Tennis Run Ends at Central Regional

TOPEKA, Kan. – Southeastern women's tennis saw its postseason run come to an end on Monday afternoon when is fell in the first round of the NCAA Central Region Tournament to Augustana, 4-1, in Topeka, Kan.
 
The loss drops the Savage Storm to 9-13 overall to end the season.
 
SE dropped the doubles point with losses at the one and two positions to trail, and AU would push its lead to 2-0 with a win at number six singles.
 
The Storm would get on the board with a win at the two position as Georgia Hosking picked up a 6-3, 7-5 win over Senem Ocal, closing the gap to 2-1.
 
However, the Vikings would pick up a three-set win at number one and close out the match with a win in the number five slot to make the final 4-1.
