Women's Basketball

SE Women Return Home to Host SAU, UAM

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern women's basketball is set to return home for the first time in 2024 when it plays host to Southern Arkansas on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Saturday afternoon matchup with Arkansas-Monticello on Jan. 13, at 1:00 p.m. in the Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
SE comes into the weekend twinbill with a 4-8 record overall and an 0-6 in the conference play.
 
Caitlin Kobiske continues to pace the team on offense, putting up 15.7 points per game to lead all scorers.
 
Holli Lindley and Ashton Hackler each just missed the double-digit mark, with Lindley averaging 8.4 per game, and Hackler adding 8.0.
 
Lindley paces the club on the glass 6.8 rebounds per game, while Kobiske is next in line with 6.1.
 
Southern Arkansas comes to town with a 7-5 record on the year and a 2-4 mark in the GAC.
 
Diamond Morris leads the Mulerider offense with 14.4 ppg, while both Sihirah Reese and Jessica Clemons lead the team on the boards with 4.8 rpg each.
 
Defensively, Marlee Bright leads the team with 3.0 steals per outing.
 
Arkansas Monticello enters the weekend with an overall record of 4-8 and 0-6 tally conference play.
 
Bailey Harris leads the Cotton Blossoms with 15.5 points per game and 6.7 rebounds, while Jayla Stirgus leads the team with 2.2 assists per game.
