Storm Clash with Arlington Baptist Friday Night

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State welcomes Arlington Baptist to the Bloomer Sullivan Arena on Friday, Nov. 22, with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m.
 
STORM WATCH
Southeastern (1-2) picked up its first win of the year last time out, defeating Dallas Christian at home 125-77. The Savage Storm had 13 different scorers in the win, including five players with double-digit points, led by Landon Condiff with 25 points on 7-of-13 shooting from beyond the arc.
 
Daniel Halldorsson continues his impressive start to his freshman season, recording 16 assists, nine points, five steals and nine rebounds in the win. Through the early parts of the season, Halldorsson leads the GAC in assists with 9.7 per game and is second in steals with 3.3 per contest and ten total steals.
 
DJ Dill registered his third straight double-digit point contest with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting versus DCC and remains the Storm's top scorer with 17.3 points per game. SE has four players averaging double-digit points per game, including Dill, with Condiff seeing 13.0, while Halldorsson and Mihailo Stijovic are averaging 10.0.
 
Southeastern and Arlington Baptist take the court for the seventh time on Friday, with the Storm leading the all-time matchup 6-0. SE bested the Patriots 120-88 in last year's contest, which is the second most points scored in this series. The two sides first met back in the 2014-15 season, and the blue-and-gold would defeat the Patriots 89-59.
 
PREVIEWING ARLINGTON BAPTIST
Arlington Baptist has started the season 1-4 following a 101-58 defeat at Angelo State. The Patriots faced a pair of GAC ahead of their trip to ASU, falling to Oklahoma Baptist 96-77 and Southern Arkansas 105-82. Arlington Baptist's lone win this season came against Centenary on the road 78-75.
 
The Patriots had a pair of scorers reach double-figure points, led by Eric Conner with 15 on 3-of-5 shooting from deep. Arlington Baptist's top scorer this season, Ahmad Webster, totaled 13 in the defeat and is averaging 13.6 points per game on 36.2 percent (25-69) shooting from the field. As a team, Arlington Baptist is averaging 71.0 points per contest and is shooting 39.0 percent from the floor and 24.4 percent at the three-point line.
