Caitlin Kobiske put up a season-high 35 points and Southeastern forced overtime but were unable to pick up the road win, falling to Oklahoma Baptist 86-82 on Thursday night in Shawnee, Okla.

The loss is the team's first in league play, falling to 2-1 in Great American Conference games and 5-4 overall on the year heading into a Monday night matchup with Northwestern Oklahoma State at 5:30 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

Kobiske would finish the contest hitting 10-of-20 from the field, including a 3-for-4 effort from beyond the arc while also adding a 12-of-12 effort at the free throw line.

Holli Lindley followed with 16 points, hitting 50 percent from the field as well, including three threes of her own.

Kenzli Warden would also connect on a trio of threes on her way to 12 points.

Abbie Barr added a pair of threes and added eight points, while
Connie Hughes turned in five points off the bench.

Lindley would lead the way on the glass, hauling in a game-high eight boards, while Kobiske and Stinchcomb pulled down five each.

Lindley would also lead the way with six assists and snagged a pair of steals.

The Storm would finish the contest with 13 threes made for the game and went 21-of-23 at the free throw line.

Kobiske would hit the ground running in the first quarter with 12 points over the first 10 minutes, with the teams opening the contest exchanging buckets until the Storm took a two-possession lead on back-to-back Kobiske buckets to go ahead 15-11 with 3:39 to go in the first.

OBU would close that advantage to two points as late at the 1:39 mark, but Bri Wietelman, Hughes, and Lindley would score on consecutive possessions to reel off a 7-0 run and take a 24-15 lead at the end of one.

The edge would reach 12 points early in the second quarter on a pair of Kobiske free throws, but the Bison would chip away at the Storm lead, closing to three points twice late before a Hughes three before the buzzer gave SE a 36-30 lead at the half.

Southeastern would hang onto its lead until the 5:27 mark when OBU would take a 40-39 lead, eventually leading by as many as six points before a Lindley three with less than a minute to play to trail 48-45 heading to the fourth quarter.

The Bison would lead in the fourth by as many as eight points, but the Storm would whittle the deficit down, tying the game at 63-63 on a Warden free throw, with Kobiske giving the Storm late 65-63 lead with a layup with 2:05 to play in regulation.

SE would find itself trailing by two with 45 seconds to play, with Warden connecting on a jumper to knot he game at 70-70, sending the game to overtime.

The teams would trade the lead over the majority of the extra frame, with OBU taking the advantage with 47 seconds to play on a free throw.

Lindley would answer by hitting a three-straight free throws after getting fouled on a three point try, putting the Storm in front 82-81 with 28 seconds left.

OBU would respond with a three and tack on two late free throws, handing SE an 86-82 loss.
