DURANT, Okla. – After battling for 20 minutes, Southeastern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State went to overtime tied 72-72, and the Rangers would find late baskets to secure an 84-81 win.

DJ Dill and Landon Condiff paced the scoring for Southeastern with 20 points each, while Robert Briley tallied a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Daniel Halldorsson quarterbacked the offense with nine assists and added six points and nine rebounds. Southeastern led 7-5 behind a three-pointer by Elijah Hughey, and another triple by Condiff would extend SE's advantage to 12-9. A quick burst of points by the Rangers cut the gap, allowing the visitors to take the lead, but three-pointers by Ethan Wilkerson and Andrija Brzovic would help SE regain the lead 22-21.

Northwestern strung together three straight baskets for the sixth lead change of the opening half, as the Rangers took a 27-22 edge on a 6-0 burst. The Storm replied with a three-point play by Condiff and a layup from Briley to tie the game 27-all and would close out the half on a 6-0 run, capped off by a jumper from Halldorsson to give Southeastern a 35-33 edge at halftime.

After an early basket from the Storm to start the second half, Northwestern would soon take the lead on a 5-0 run 40-39. Southeastern picked up the pace on a 4-0 run, and moments later, a three-pointer by Dill stretched the SE lead to 50-46.
