Storm Return Home For ECU, SWOSU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to return home and open a four-game home stretch with two of its biggest rivals, first squaring off with nemesis East Central at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 15 before hosting Southwestern Oklahoma State at 3 p.m. on Feb. 17, with both contests in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm return home with a 17-7 record on the seas and a 13-3 mark in Great American Conference play, taking over the top spot in the league standings with six games to play and becoming the first men's team to clinch a bid to the conference tournament.
 
Kody Clouet's 17.7 ppg continues to lead the SE offense as he is shooting 51.1 percent form the field and 43.7 percent form beyond the arc.
 
The two-time reigning GAC Player of the Week Brennen Burns is next in line with 15.6 ppg and has lifted his assists per game average to 6.4 per outing.
 
Jett Sternberger followed with 13.9 per game, while Kyle Leslie is putting up 11.8 per contest.
 
Clouet leads the way on the boards as well with 5.1 rebounds per game, while Leslie and Robert Briley are each averaging more than four per outing.
 
East Central comes to town with a 10-12 record overall and a 6-10 mark in GAC play.
 
Keyon Thomas leads the way with 13.7 ppg while handing out a team-best 3.6 assists per contest.
 
Mohamed Elgohary paces the club on the boards with 5.8 rebounds per game.
 
SWOSU enters the weekend with a record of 8-13 on the year overall and 8-8 in conference play.
 
Ben Smith paces the Bulldog offense with 17.8 ppg while MJ Warrior has handed out a team-high 3.9 assists per contest.
 
Mark Berry leads the team on the glass with 7.3 rebounds per game.
