Storm Men Set for OBU, HSU Contests

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern looks to push its winning streak to double figures when it welcomes a pair of Arkansas foes to Bloomer Sullivan Arena for the weekend, first squaring off with Ouachita Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 before closing the weekend with a 3 p.m. matchup with Henderson State on Feb. 24.
 
The Savage Storm enters the weekend with a 19-7 record overall on the season and a 15-3 mark in Great American Conference play, riding a nine-game winning streak and holding onto the top spot in the conference standings by a game over Arkansas Tech.
 
Kody Clouet leads the Storm offense with 17.7 ppg on the year while shooting 50.5 percent overall from the field and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc.
 
Brennen Burns is next in line in scoring with 15.6 ppg while hitting 58.1 percent of his shots from the field and is the conference leader in assists per game at 6.7 per outing. He has also racked up four GAC Player of the Week awards this season, including three in-a-row.
 
Jett Sternberger follows with 13.9 ppg on the year, with Kyle Leslie rounding out the double-digit averages with 11.6 per outing.
 
Clouet leads the team in rebounding with 5.0 rebounds per game, while Robert Briley is next in line with 4.6 per contest.
 
OBU enters Thursday night's contest with an 8-15 record on the year and a 6-12 mark in league play.
 
The Tigers are led on offense by Terran Williams who is putting up 13.6 ppg, while Emorie Knox is dishing out a team-best 2.9 assists per outing.
 
Tylar Haynes leads the team on the boards with 6.1 rebounds per game.
 
HSU enters the weekend with a 7-16 overall record and a 6-12 tally in GAC play.
 
Malek Davis and Zyon Patterson lead the way with 14.3 ppg each, while Davis leads the team in assists with 4.1 per game.
 
Tomislav Miholjcic paces the squad on the glass with 7.9 rebounds per game.
