RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Despite jumping out to an early lead in the series finale, Southeastern would close out the road trip with a 6-3 loss to Arkansas Tech on Monday afternoon in Russellville, Ark.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 23-26 overall and 15-15 in Great American Conference play.

Iliana Olivares,
Gracie Ore, and
Sabetha Sands each picked up a hit in the contest.

Ore would drive in a pair of runs while Sands added one RBI.
Â
Taylor Reese got the start and tossed a complete game in the loss, allowing six runs, five earned on 14 hits with four strikeouts over six innings.

Ore would put the Storm on the board with a two-run double in the top of the fourth and Sands would follow by driving in Ore on an RBI single for a 3-0 lead.

ATU would get one run back in the bottom of the fourth before putting up five runs in the fifth to take a 6-3 lead which would hold up as the final.
