DURANT, Okla. –
Cameron Cromer celebrated his senior day in walk off fashion, smashing a game-winning homer to down rival East Central 3-2 in the season finale on Saturday afternoon at Mike Metheny Field, bouncing back from an 8-7 loss in game one and securing a series win.

The split moves the Savage Storm to 17-32 overall on the season and 7-26 in Great American Conference play to end the season.

In the finale, ECU would pick up a pair of runs in the second inning to take a 2-0 lead.

SE would chip away, with
Cache Stone singling home
Dylan Herd in the third and
Cory Bonstrom connecting on a game-tying solo homer in the fourth inning.
Â
Cromer would pinch hit to open the bottom of the seventh inning and drive the game-winner over the right field wall to lift the Storm to a 3-2 win.

Herd would collect a pair of hits to lead the offense, while Cromer,
Wesley Mitchell, Stone, and Bonstrom each added one.
Â
Bonstrom and Cromer each provided solo homers, while Stone drove in a run as well.

Jackson Sioson got the start and tossed 4.1 innings, allowing a pair of unearned runs while striking out four and allowing five hits in a no decision.

Brett Tanksley picked up his fourth win of the season in relief with 2.2 scoreless innings with a pair of strikeouts.

In Saturday's opener, Mitchell and
Coby Grimsley collected three hits apiece, while Stone and
John David Muse added two each.

Matt Miles, Bonstrom, and Herd each picked up one hits.

Miles would homer and finish with two RBI, while Grimsley added two RBI as well.

Stone and Herd each picked up an RBI.

Dykan Turner got the start and finished with a no decision after allowing three runs on three hits in three innings with a pair of strikeouts.

Charlie Deeds followed with 3.1 innings of work, allowing four runs on five hits before handing the ball off to
Hayden Alexander who tossed two scoreless innings, striking out two and allowing three hits.

Jared Barta would toss the final inning and was saddled with the loss, allowing an unearned run on a hit.

ECU got on the board with an RBI double in the first, but the Storm would answer in the second with a Herd sac fly to knot the game at 1-1.

A two-run homer from the Tigers in the third would regain them the lead before a Stone double and a two-run Miles homer in the third would give Southeastern a 4-3 lead.

ECU picked up two runs in the top of the fourth, but the Storm again answered with a pair of runs, one on a wild pitch and one on a Grimsley double to take a 6-5 lead.

ECU would take a 7-6 lead on a two-run homer in the seventh, but an RBI single from Grimsley in the eighth would tie the game at 7-7.

The Tigers would get the last word though with a sac fly in the top of the ninth to swipe an 8-7 final. Â
