BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Southeastern softball saw its 2024 Great American Conference Tournament run come to an end on Thursday night with a 6-1 second-round loss to Harding in Bentonville, Ark.

The Savage Storm finish the season with a 26-28 record on the year.

Reese Taylor,
Emily Simmons,
Sabetha Sands, and
Kamryn Rackley each logged a hit in the contest.

Simmons homered for her hit and collected the team's lone RBI.
Â
Taylor got the start and took the loss after allowing six runs, only two of them earned, on eight hits in four innings of work.
Â
Simmons would come in and toss two scoreless innings in relief, allowing one hit.
Â
Simmons would give SE the lead in the top of the second inning with a solo homer.
Â
That edge would hold until the fourth inning when HU out up four runs, all unearned, to take a 4-1 lead.

The Bisons would tack on two more runs in the fifth to stretch the lead to 6-1 which would end up as the final.
