Savage Storm Women Set to Welcome HU, ATU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to Bloomer Sullivan Arena looking to build on its three-game winning streak when it takes to the court for back-to-back home contests, first hosting Harding at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 before taking on Arkansas Tech on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 9-5 record overall on the season and a 6-2 record in Great American Conference play following a road sweep of Southern Arkansas and Arkansas-Monticello.
 
SE is paced on offense by Caitlin Kobiske who is second in the league in scoring at 18.3 ppg while shooting 47.3 percent from the floor and 87.2 percent at the free throw line.
 
Kenzli Warden has lifted her scoring average to 12.1 ppg, while putting up 14.5 per outing in conference games.
 
Holli Lindley rounds out the trio of double-digit scorers with 10.9 per game, while Abbie Barr is adding 8.6 per outing.
 
Lindley leads the way in assists with 2.7 per game, while Barr and Stevie Stinchcomb are handing out 2.3 per game each.
 
Kobiske leads the club on the boards with 6.0 per game, while Lindley, Stinchcomb, and Warden are each grabbing more than four per contest.
 
Harding enters Thursday's matchup with a 12-2 record overall and an 8-0 mark in GAC play following home wins over Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene.
 
The Bisons are led by Sage Hawley who is putting up 18.6 ppg on offense while pulling down 10.0 rebounds per game.
 
Josie Williams is handing out a team-best 3.1 assists per game.
 
Arkansas Tech enters the weekend with a 3-9 record on the season and a 1-7 tally in conference games.
 
The Golden Suns are led by Julie Wagner who is putting gup 10.3 ppg on offense while hauling in a team-best 8.3 rebounds per outing on the boards.
 
Andie Zylak is handing out a team-leading 3.7 assists per game.
