DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State outscores Harding 59-22 in the second half after trailing by one at halftime to take down Harding 94-58.
Daniel Halldorsson helped lead the way with the first triple-double in the Division II era by an SE player with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.

The Savage Storm were red-hot in the final 20 minutes, shooting 60.5 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from beyond the arc to finish the game with a 55.9 percent clip from the floor. SE dominated the glass, outrebounding Harding 42-to-25, and won the turnover battle 8-to-11.

SE had five players reach double-digit points, led by
DJ Dill with 25 points, while
Robert Briley and
Santiago Camacho Gomez chipped in 16 and 12, respectively. Briley totaled nine rebounds and added a pair of steals and a block, and
Ethan Wilkerson shot 5-of-9 from the field for 10 points.

A fast start by Harding gave the visitors an early 8-3 in the first three and a half minutes but were quickly matched by a 10-3 burst by the Storm. A layup from Birley kicked off the run, and four straight baskets capped off by a bucket from Camacho Gomez pushed SE to its first lead of the game, 13-11. HU was red-hot from beyond the arc in the opening 20 minutes, knocking down its second and third triples in less than a minute to flip the lead back in their favor 17-15.

Dill and Briley combined for the Storm's next five points, and moments later, a three-ball from Dill would help keep the blue and gold ahead 25-22. Harding replied with another burst of points, including its fifth triple of the half to regain the advantage. Southeastern would trail by one heading into the halftime break, 36-35, after Halldorsson and Wilkerson provided the final three baskets of the half for the Storm.

After being held to just 2-of-12 shooting from the three-point line in the first half, Southeastern knocked down consecutive triples from Briley and
Elijah Hughey. During this stretch, the Storm outscored the Bisons 12-2 to regain the edge 47-38 for the ninth lead change of the game. Baskets from Briley, Halldrosson and Camacho Gomez extended the gap, and later, a 7-0 run would make it 63-47.

From there, Dill had the hot hand, scoring the next 14 points for the blue and gold as the Storm extended the gap to 79-53. Southeastern allowed just five points in the final four minutes, with
Tyler Long providing five of the final nine points to close out a 94-58 win over Harding.

Southeastern (5-10, 3-6) remains at home for a conference showdown with Arkansas Tech at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, inside the Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
