SE Women Set For South Arkansas Road Swing

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to hit the road for the first time in 2025 when it makes the southern Arkansas road swing, first taking on Southern Arkansas at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, in Magnolia, Ark., followed by a Saturday, Jan. 11 matchup with Arkansas-Monticello set for a 1 p.m. tip in Monticello, Ark.
 
The Savage Storm opened the 2025 portion of the schedule with a 62-48 home win over Southwestern Oklahoma State this past Saturday, lifting its record to 7-5 overall on the year and 402 in Great American conference play.
 
In its win over the Bulldogs, SE got a game-high 21 points from Caitlin Kobiske who is second in the GAC in scoring with 18.9 ppg, as well as a double-0double from Holli Lindley who finished the contest with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
 
Lindley is second on the team in points per game at 11.7 while Kenzli Warden is putting up 11.0 per outing.
 
Abbie Barr follows with 8.0 per game and has a team-high 19 threes made on the year.
 
Kobiske leads the Storm on the board with 6.0 per game while Lindley is right behind with 5.0.
 
Lindley and Stevie Stinchcomb lead the team in assists with 2.9 per game each.
 
SAU comes into Thursday's matchup at 7-5 overall on the year and 2-4 in GAC play, having sandwiched a pair of conference wins between two losses to open the league slate and two leading into Thursday's matchup.
 
The Muleriders have a trio of double-digit scorers, led by Addy Tremie who is putting up 12.9 ppg, while Crystal Ortiz is adding 11.8 and Tequaza Chambers is averaging 0.6 per outing.
 
Elena Lijo-Rodriguez is the team's top rebounder at 6.8 rpg, while Marlee Bright is handing out 6.3 assists per outing.
 
UAM enters the weekend with a 7-5 overall record and a 2-4 mark in league play as well following a loss to Henderson State.
 
The Cotton Blossoms are led by Bailey Harris who is putting up 14.4 ppg to pace the team's scoring.
 
Camille Pritchard and Kelsey Blakemore are each pulling down a team best 5.2 rebounds per game while Blakemore leads the team in assists with 2.3 per contest.
