HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Southeastern puts in its best round as a team on day two at the Battle for the Belt, shooting 16-over 304 for a final 54-hole score of 53-over 917 to place fourth.
The Savage Storm saw several records fall on the final day, as the team posted its first top-five finish at a tournament in program history, and went on to set a new 54-hole score record at 53-over Par on a par-72 course. In addition,
Karen Kim set a new 54-hole score record with a 7-over 223, and her 1-over 73 rounds tied the program's best individual round score.Â

The top two teams on the leaderboard remained unchanged after three rounds of play, as Henderson State finished in first with a 31-over 895, while Harding placed second with a 43-over 907. UT Dallas shot 48-over 912 to edge out the Savage Storm for third, and McLennan Community College (+64) would round out the top five in fifth. Â

Kim continued her strong performance at the Battle for the Belt on day two, posting a 1-over 73 for a final score of 7-over 223 to tie for fourth. Kim saw her best play during the third round on the front nine, as she turned in an even-par 36 with a pair of birdies. Joining Kim in the top 10 individually,
Carley Button carded an 11-over 227 to tie for tenth after firing in a 3-over 75 in the third round.

Kaeli Drake saw the biggest rise on the player leaderboard, moving up eight spots following a 4-over 76 round three. At the end of 54 holes of play, Drake shot 19-over 235 with a pair of birdies to tie for 22
nd individually. Finishing just ahead of the Wylie, Texas native,
Addison Oestreicher tied for 17
th with a 16-over 232. The freshman posted an 8-over 80 during round three and would add a birdie to her totals to finish the tournament with five.

Ally Richard followed with a 30-over 246 over the three rounds after shooting 10-over 83 in the third round. Richard and Southeastern will close out the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule on October 20-21 at the Central Regional Preview at the St. Joseph Country Club.
