EDOMND, Okla. – Southeastern finished the final round of play at the Grace Shin Invitational with a score of 27-over 311 for a final team score of 55-over 623.
The top of the leaderboard did not see a change, as Central Missouri stayed in first with a score of 12-over 580. Arkansas Tech jumped one spot on day two to claim second at 15-over 583, overtaking Central Oklahoma who dropped to third at 18-over 586. Southwestern Oklahoma State finished tied for fourth with Northwest Missouri State with a 36-hole score of 27-over 595.
Addison Oestreicher saw the biggest climb on the player leaderboard during the final round of play for SE, jumping 11 spots to tie for 26
th individually with a 9-over 151. The freshman turned a 4-over 75 in round two to improve on her first round score by one stroke and added two more birdies to her total to end with three.
Carley Button saw the next best score for the event, carding a 12-over 154 after an 8-over 79 round three.
Karen Kim finished one stroke behind Button, tied for 46
th after moving up two spots for a 36-hole score of 13-over 155. Similar to Oestreicher, Kim saw her best score of the tournament on day two with a 6-over 77 and saw two birdies on holes 16 and 18.
Kaeli Drake carded a 9-over 80 in the third round on her way to a tie for 72
nd individually with a score of 21-over 163.
Ally Richard (T89
th) recorded her lowest score of the event in round three, shooting 14-over 85 to compile a final score of 31-over 173 at the Grace Shin Invitational. Southeastern heads to the Natural State for the next round of play, as they get set for the Battle for the Belt on October 12-13.
