Storm End Thanksgiving Break at NSU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will look to shake off Thanksgiving dinner when it heads to Tahlequah, Okla., on Saturday afternoon to face off with Northeastern State at 3:30 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm roll into the weekend on a three-game winning streak after picking up a 97-59 win over Midwestern State on Tuesday, improving to 3-2 on the season.
 
SE is paced by Tori Kilburn who earned Great American Conference Player of the Week honors to open the week and has lifted her scoring average to 17.2 ppg while shooting 57.1 percent from the field and 87.5 percent from the free throw line.
 
Kenzli Warden is right on her heels with 17.0 points per game while shooting 43.8 percent from beyond the arc.
 
Abbie Barr has added 8.8 ppg while Mackenzie Espinosa is adding 8.0 per game off the bench.
 
Kilburn also leads the way on the boards with 5.6 rebounds per outing, while Warden and Espinosa are each chipping in 5.2 per game.
 
Halli Hyatt is dishing out a team-leading 3.4 assists per game with Kilburn right behind at 3.2 per game.
 
NSU enters the weekend with a 5-1 record on the season, winning its first five before losing its last outing versus Henderson State, 71-64.
 
The RiverHawks are paced by a foursome of double-figure scorers, led by McKenzie Smith with 14.5, followed by Annaston Brown at 13.3 with Deyanna Douglas at 12.0 and Reese Shirey with 10.5.
 
Smith leads the way on the glass with 6.7 rebounds per game, while Shirey dishing out a team-best 3.5 assists per outing.
