DURANT, Okla. – After leading Southeastern to a pair of wins victories,
Caitlin Kobiske has been named the Great American Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Â
Kobiske, a senior from Keller, Texas, was near unstoppable as the team returned home to host Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas this past weekend.
Â
On Thursday against UAM, she turned in 26 points on a 50.0 percent shooting effort, draining 2-of-her-3 three-point attempts and going 10-of-12 at the free throw line.
Â
She also chipped in four rebounds, two assists and three steals, and that effort would equate to a commanding 75-55 win over the Cotton Blossoms.
Â
Kobiske provided an encore on Saturday afternoon where she dropped 25 points in a winning performance, shooting 61.5 percent overall, going 3-of-5 from beyond the arc and 6-of-7 at the charity stripe.
Â
Additionally, she finished with six rebounds and a blocked shot to power the Storm to a 74-56 win over SAU.
