Storm Set to Host Rival Tigers, Then Trek to SWOSU

DURANT, Okla. – Riding high after a pair of dominant home wins, Southeastern returns to Bloomer Sullivan for a third-straight contest when it hosts rival East Central on Thursday, Feb. 13, at 5:30 p.m. before taking the road on Saturday, Feb. 15 to take on Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. in Weatherford, Okla.
 
The Savage Storm head into the weekend after posting a 20-point win over Arkansas-Monticello followed by an 18-point win over Southern Arkansas, lifting its overall record to 15-7 on the season and 12-4 in Great American Conference play.
 
Caitlin Kobiske averaged 25.5 ppg last week on her way to picking up GAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week recognition.
 
Her effort lifted her scoring average to 18.2 ppg which ranks first in the conference, while ranking top-10 in field goal percentage, three-point shooting percentage, and free throw shooting percentage.
 
Kenzli Warden is next in line with 12.8 ppg on the year, with Holli Lindley checking in with 10.8 per outing.
 
Ashton Hackler has pushed her average up to 7.1 ppg, while Abbie Barr is on her heels at 6.6 per contest.
 
Stevie Stinchcomb is handing out a team-high 2.7 assists per game, while Lindley and Barr are at 2.6 and 2.5 per game, respectively.
 
SE is averaging 12.9 assists per game as a team, more than a full assists above its opponents.
 
Kobiske paces the club on the board with 5.8 rebounds pe outing, while Warden is right behind at 5.2 per game.  Lindley and Stinchcomb follow, checking in with 4.9 and 4.5 rpg, respectively.
 
Southeastern edged the Tigers on the road in overtime when the teams met three weeks ago, with Lindley pouring in 29 points to lead all scorers while Warden pulled down eight boards and Stinchcomb handed out seven assists.
 
ECU enters the matchup with an 8-12 record on the season and a 6-10 mark in league play.
 
The Tigers are led by Katie Edelen who is putting up 14.1 ppg on the season, while Chloe Malone is hauling in 5.4 rebounds per game and Eva Fernandez is dishing out 3.9 assists per game.
 
SE squared off with SWOSU in the first matchup of 2025, handing the Bulldogs a 62-48 loss as Kobiske turned in 21 points to lead the scoring while Lindley turned in a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
 
Southwestern Oklahoma State enters the weekend with a 12-10 record on the year and an 8-8 mark in league play, led on offense by Averi Zinn at 11.2 ppg.
 
Hailey Grant paces SWOSU on the boards with 4.2 rpg, while Zinn is handing out 3.0 assists per outing.
