Storm Return Home to Host UAM, SAU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to return home after two-straight weekends on the road, first welcoming Arkansas-Monticello to Bloomer Sullivan Arena on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 5:30 pm. Before hosting Southern Arkansas at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.
 
The Savage Storm enter the weekend with a 13-7 record overall on the year and a 10-4 mark in Great American Conference play, but are smarting after a narrow road loss versus Henderson State to end its last road swing.
 
Caitlin Kobiske continues to pace the SE offense with 17.5 ppg while also leading the way on the boards with 5.9 rebounds per outing.
 
Kenzli Warden is next in line with 12.2 ppg on the year while Holli Lindley is adding 11.3 per outing.
 
Abbie Barr, Ashton Hackler, and Stevie Stinchcomb are each averaging at least 6.0 ppg, while Stinchcomb leads the team in assists with 2.7 per game, while Lindley and Barr are handing out 2.6 per game each.
 
UAM enters Thursday's matchup with a 9-11 mark overall on the year and a 4-10 record in league play after dropping its last two contests and six of its last seven.
 
Southeastern got 20 points from Warden when the team's squared off the first time en route to an 80-70 win in Monticello, Ark., on Jan. 11.
 
The Cotton Blossoms are led by Bailey Harris who is putting up 14.7 ppg, while Cha'Myrean Ellis is pulling down a team-best 5.2 rebounds per outing.
 
SAU enters the weekend with a 10-10 record on the season and a 5-9 tally in GAC games.
 
When the teams first squared off on Jan. 9, SE would come away with a 69-64 win as Kobiske would finish the night with 27 points.
 
The Muleriders are led on offense by Tequaza Chambers who is averaging 12.6 ppg on the year while Elena Lijo-Rodriguez is grabbing a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game.
