BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Southeastern opens the year with a 12
th-place finish at the Central Regional Fall Preview, carding a two-round score of 623 (+47). The Savage Storm rounded out the day with a 26-over 314 in the second round.

Central Missouri held onto its top spot on day two to win the event with a score of 10-over 586. A trio of GAC teams helped fill in the top ten, with Henderson State finishing 5
th at 31-over 607, Harding in sixth at 33-over 609 and Arkansas Tech in ninth at 42-over 618. SE finished three strokes behind Oklahoma Baptist, and would end the event ahead of Southern Arkansas (14
th), Arkansas-Monticello (15
th) and Southern Nazarene (16
th).

Carley Button carried over her strong finish in round one into day two, as she was bogey-free through the first 13 holes of the day. Button turned in a birdie on hole one to set up a 1-under Par front nine before shooting 3-over on the back half to complete the round 2-over 74 for a final score of 5-over 149 to place tied for 14
th.

Karen Kim played a near-flawless back nine in round two with six pars and two bogeys after shooting 4-over Par on the front half. Kim, in two days of play, turned in a 36-hole score of 9-over 153 with four birdies across the two rounds to tie for 25
th individually.

Like Kim,
Addison Oestreicher's best play came at the turn of the back nine, where she shot 2-over Par on her way to a 7-over 79. The freshman wrapped up her first collegiate tournament tied for 60
th with a combined score of 17-over 161.
Kaeli Drake (T58th) would finish just ahead of Oestreicher with a 36-hole score of 16-over 160, following an 11-over 83 round two.
Meredith Reid (83
rd) carded a 14-over 86 on the day to end the tournament 27-over 171.

Southeastern returns to the course on September 8-9 for the NSU Women's Golf Classic at the Page Belcher Golf Course in Tulsa, Okla., hosted by Northeastern State. Â
