SE Opens Road Swing with HU, ATU Contests

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out on the first two games of a four-game road swing as it travels to central Arkansas, first squaring off with No. 15 Harding at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 15 in Searcy, Ark., before taking on Arkansas Tech at 1 p.m. on Jan. 17 in Russellville, Ark.
 
The Savage Storm are coming off back-to-back Great American Conference victories, lifting its record to 5-9 overall on the year and 2-6 in league play.
 
Tori Kilburn continues to pace SE with 16.7 ppg while shooting 52.9 percent from the floor, with Kenzli Warden next in line at 14.6 ppg.
 
Stevie Stinchcomb is adding 9.3 ppg since her return to action, while Mackenzie Espinosa and Abbie Barr are adding 7.2 and 7.1 ppg, respectively.
 
Warden leads the club on the boards with 6.8 rpg, with Kilburn right behind at 6.1 per contest.
 
Kilburn also leads the way in assists with 2.9 per game while Barr is handing out 2.5 per outing.
 
The Bisons come into the weekend with a 12-2 record on the season and a 6-2 mark in GAC play, led by Kori Sanders 12.4 ppg, while a total of five players are averaging in double-figures.
 
HU is paced on the boards by Kennedy Stout who is pulling down 6.6 rebounds per game while Sanders is handing out 3.9 assists per game.
 
The Golden Suns enter the weekend with a 10-2 mark overall on the year and a 6-2 record in conference play, led by Logan Young's 16.4 ppg.
 
Dessie Lancaster leads ATU on the glass with 6.5 rebounds per game, with Shalyn Lyle dishing out a team-best 3.2 assists per game.
